Last week I went to a nearby forest to take a few pictures, which would hopefully sent across the “autumn vibe”. 🙂
Even though I don’t like posting anything without a lot of accompanying words, these pictures are quite self explanatory. There’s really no need to bury you in an avalanche of words to describe them to you, so here are the pictures without further ado!
Uh no wait… this picture is getting me all confused! It’s still winter for a few more weeks, but it sure didn’t feel that way when I saw this last Wednesday when I was visiting the little town of Bergen.
I knew a TV show would be there to shoot a DIY “On Tour” special and since it was such a nice day, I decided to go and have a look. They were filming in front of this ruin church and I noticed the field in front of it was covered in flowers. I know we broke a few records this winter, but apparently nature jumped right in and decided to start spring early this year and join the party. 🙂
Here are some of the other pictures I took during my short visit.
I know that I’ve been asking for snow and I would still like to see it fall, but when the weather is this good I just need to go out and embrace it! That’s why I decided to go skating to the lake for a change of pace.
It’s been a while since my last post, but I really wanted to wish you all happy holidays with this little visual I created. Now this probably isn’t my last post of the year, but I wanted to make sure to have said this in time in case something would interfere.
And I like to stay within this Christmas theme and tell you about last Sunday. I went to the city centre to have a look at the rehearsals that were taking place for a TV-show that would be taped later that night. It’s a show that tells the famous Christmas story with music and a guy who can paint with sand (I’m not making this up!). Of course I brought my camera with me to take some pictures of it all. I’m crazy about everything TV and camera related, so I was having a field day. 🙂
This fishing trawler from Belgium has become quite famous in a short amount of time here in the low countries, when it stranded in the Netherlands a couple of days ago. After rescuing the men on board by helicopter at night and trying to keep it from sinking last Thursday, today the time had finally come to try and get it free and back into the water after repairment. Unfortunately the ropes snapped during this operation and they have to try again tomorrow morning.
Nevertheless, this boat has become a very popular photography-subject and since it’s close to home, I just had to take some pictures! Continue reading →
