This time a picture that shows the beautiful city of New York from a helicopter. It was a thrill to see the city like this. We were also very lucky, since we arrived early at the heli platform we were able to get on board with a more exclusive flight at no extra charge.
I tried to follow all the safety instructions, but just seconds before the helicopter took off, I manged to unmount my seatbelt (several actually at the same time with a simple twist… Houdini would’ve been so proud of me) and in a few very scary seconds I was able to connect them together again, just in time… barely… before we went airborne. Just like posting this picture before it becomes Saturday. Just in time. 😉
It’s been a while since my last post, but I really wanted to wish you all happy holidays with this little visual I created. Now this probably isn’t my last post of the year, but I wanted to make sure to have said this in time in case something would interfere.
And I like to stay within this Christmas theme and tell you about last Sunday. I went to the city centre to have a look at the rehearsals that were taking place for a TV-show that would be taped later that night. It’s a show that tells the famous Christmas story with music and a guy who can paint with sand (I’m not making this up!). Of course I brought my camera with me to take some pictures of it all. I’m crazy about everything TV and camera related, so I was having a field day. 🙂
I took this picture earlier this week while I went to the city with an added challenge. Normally I would do some cycling through the streets and walk with the bicycle besides me at the walking areas. This makes it easier for me to quickly escape the crowded scene if needed. But not this time!
Even though summer is really over now, the weather is actually very nice and it motivated me to go biking today. I went to the city to do a bit of window shopping and actually ended up buying something at the store where a few weeks ago I had my shopping adventure. It went much better this time. Or… good enough at least. 😉 I still prefer online shopping, but the analog way also has its perks!
I went biking today and couldn’t settle on a location to go to. At the last minute I decided to go to the city center and I took these two pictures there. It was extremely busy in the streets with people shopping and there was no sun, at least not visible, but the weather was really nice!
